Dr. Melanie Racette-Campbell

My research focuses on the construction of masculinity in Roman literature of the late Republic and early empire.  My research interests also include women in antiquity and classical reception.  My teaching strengths are in Latin language instruction and courses that foreground issues of gender and sexuality.  I am committed to fostering active learning and to implementing innovative teaching strategies.
